What happens if we can’t find water for Wudhu? What are we going to do? Tayammum is a situational alternative to Wudhu and Ghusl.
How do we carry out Tayammum?
Begin by stating your intention, which is to seek closer proximity to Allah through this act. Remove your rings and check for any barriers on the skin of your forehead and hands.
With both hands, strike the bare earth once. Wipe your forehead, between the hairlines, and the top of your nose, including the brows, with both palms. From the very top to the very bottom.
Then, from the wrist to the fingertips, wipe the back of your right hand with the palm of your left hand.
Keep doing the same thing and wipe the back of your left hand, with the right palm.
Done! so quick and easy!
But, Tayammum, what can I do?
Tayammum can be performed on earth, soil, sand, a lump of clay, or stone. It’s also suitable for gypsum, bricks, clay, and gathered dust if it’s fine soil. What matters is that it leaves traces on your hands.
It is not permissible, for example, to use marble stone that is not dust-free. Tayammum should be clean, Tahir, and pure, and should not be usurped. If you can’t find any of the items mentioned, you can make Tayammum out of mud. If that is not available, a dusty item, such as a dusty cloth, can be used.
Tayammum is required in the following situations:
